This Privacy Policy was last revised on April 11, 2026.
At Verbli, we care about your personal information, so we have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and share it. This Privacy Policy applies to the Verbli website, mobile web app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree with Verbli's collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Please note that Verbli is constantly improving its features. Any features discussed in this Privacy Policy may not be available to all users.
When you use the Service, Verbli may collect the following personal information about you.
To register for a Verbli account, you may provide us with your name and email address. You may also register using social login providers such as Google. If you register using a social login, Verbli may receive information about you from that provider, including your name and email address.
After you register, a profile will be created for you. Your profile includes information you submit such as your name, selected practice language, proficiency level, and practice preferences. Your profile also includes information about your learning progress, such as session history, feedback scores, and achievements. Your profile is private and visible only to you.
When you use Verbli's practice modes, we collect information about your practice sessions, including your responses, conversation transcripts, feedback received, session duration, and performance metrics. This data helps us personalize your learning experience and track your progress.
Some activities involve you speaking into the Verbli app. To recognize speech, your audio is processed using your device's built-in speech recognition capabilities. Verbli does not store raw audio recordings. We only store the text transcript generated from your speech for the purpose of providing feedback and tracking progress.
When you subscribe to Verbli Pro, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or full banking details. Our payment processor may share with us limited information such as your subscription status, billing address, and the last four digits of your card.
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information about how you interact with our platform, including your device type, browser, operating system, IP address, pages visited, and usage patterns. This helps us optimize the platform, detect issues, and understand user needs.
When you access the Verbli website, we may store certain data from your browser using cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's device. We use session cookies to confirm that users are logged in and to maintain your preferences. If you do not want your data to be collected by cookies, most browsers allow you to deny or accept the cookie feature. However, cookies may be necessary to provide you with certain features available on the website.
